back in the saddle...

Just a quick note in inform everyone that I got my replacement iBook from Apple today... and what a replacement it! They went and replaced my 700MHz/20Gb model with the latest 900MHz/40Gb model that is currently shipping. So for the time being, I'm a happy camper. Until THIS one starts going fucking crazy on me!

In other news... our family spent the whole day in NYC yesterday at the AMNH. The dinosaurs were a big hit, if hastily viewed... and the 6 month old actually enjoyed the planetarium show as much as the 4 year old... he was really watching all the stuff zipping around up there. Pretty cute.

I'm off to finish reinstalling all my various software. You'll be hearing a *bit* more from me now, I hope.
