a refreshing 87 degrees...

I've decided that we really don't need air conditioning in our house... we just all need to spend an hour working in the attic. After that, the house feels positively refreshing.

Cleaning out the attic in preparation for a possible yard sale next weekend. So far my wife is winning the contest of "Number Of Boxes Of Old Crap In The Attic That Should Have Been Thrown Out Long Ago" by a score of about 12 to 7. Of course... that doesn't count my studio or my 17 Macintoshes.... so maybe we're even!

In other news, we're having a bit of an ant invasion, so our carpet is drenched in Raid... great for when you've got a 7 month old crawling around. I imagine some day we'll come into the room to find him on his back with his legs wriggling in the air.
