So last week we were filming the Michelson Morley experiment for a relativity video we're working on. And the modern version of the experiment involves a laser. Well the problem with a laser is that you can't really SEE the beam, unless there is some particulate matter in the air. Solution...?
It took three people smoking at once to get enough smoke hanging in the air to see the beam reliably. Great for the professional quality optics, by the way. Our entire floor smelled like a bar for the rest of the day.
