new year, new storage schemes...

I got the HD in the mail (**) today that I ordered to replace the "wrong" gift I got for Xmas. It's a LaCie portable 120 gig USB drive. It's TINY!! I partitioned 100 Mb for OSX and set up the rest as a MS-DOS partition to help transfer stuff to PC's every now and then. I'm going to use the bulk of it to store media that takes up too much room on the laptop - i.e. movies, TV shows, and porn. By my calculations, I should free up around 15 gig from the PowerBook when all is said and done. Then I'll do a full file backup and start the new year with a big HARD DRIVE REORGANIZATION!!

The house? A pigsty.... why do you ask?
