in-flight entertainment...

For our movie today, we have selected "Million Dollar Baby". It was good, but a little slow. And seeing Clint Eastwood that old makes me a little sad. Sadder than the plot of the actual movie. Which is also sad.

For our book, we stared and stared and stared at the bookcases at home, and NOTHING jumped out at us. So we opted for a classic - Hemingway "To Have and Have Not". The deciding factors? Thin enough to fit in my man-purse, short enough sentences to read while sleepy.

Not to self... bring more UPLIFTING entertainment next time. Jeez.
