Has anybody noticed the "mainstreamization" of fishnet stockings that has occured recently? Here in the city I see them with business suits. Students at my college wear them under jeans. Diane Sawyer was wearing them on Letterman a couple of weeks ago.

Leave it to the winds of fashion to take yet another thing I fetishize and suck all the life out of it by making it available at K-mart for 13-year-olds and 60-year-olds alike.

What's next? Barbara Walters in a PVC corset??
