I was listening to “Fresh Air” with Terry Gross on NPR today and there was a long piece on Johnny Cash and his later-day work. They played a bit of his cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails, and it was just... wrenching.

I know it’s a horribly hipsterish thing to do... and lord knows I’ve been giving it to the hipsters a lot lately... but I think I need to dig up some Johnny Cash music to throw on the iPod.
