THEY'RE GONE!!

And so begins dave's 5 days of bachelorhood. Which, given that the contractors were delayed by yesterday's rain and are starting the basement TODAY rather than yesterday, will start out with an entire day of listening to hammering.

For those of you without kids, perhaps the fact that I regard a day of hammering as an IMPROVEMENT over a typical weekend day with the children tells you a little something about the joys of parenting.
